The University of Iowa softball team has advanced to the Women's College World Series four
times in its history, including a stretch of three
straight seasons from 1995-97. The Hawkeyes
won a pair of games at the 1996 Women's College
World Series in Columbus, Ga., defeating Michigan (3-2) and California (1-0).
