Now they are focusing on surviving the postseason. Wisconsin will travel to Eugene, Ore., to play in an NCAA regional, marking the team's first appearance since 2005. 62 » VARSITY doesn't faze the team. "It is a fun time of the year," Healy said. "When you come off winning a Big Ten championship, I think you are happy to go anywhere. Just to be playing in the postseason after fighting to try and make it, it means a lot to the program." Wisconsin won its first-ever Big Ten tournament championship last weekend and is looking to top off that trip with another memorable one. The Badgers will match up with North Carolina in the regional's first game with the potential to meet No. 3 Oregon in the later rounds. No matter the outcome, the trip west will provide the Badgers with another great memory from an already amazing season. MAY 16, 2013 It is a place the Badgers haven't been in a while and it is providing most of them with the trip of a lifetime. "We are excited to be going to the NCAA tournament," said head coach Yvette Healy after the seedings were announced. "It is a big deal for the program." The cross-country trip »Stefanni LaJeunesse was one of three Badgers to be named to the Big Ten All-Tournament team, but a look at her tournament stats might surprise, as she only had one at-bat. The freshman was called in to pinch hit and came up big, twice. In her first at-bat, LaJeunesse hit a grand slam. In her second, she was hit by a pitch. In total, she recorded a 1.000 average and 5 RBI.
