Santiago is a six year old Uruguayan that loves soccer. His soccer life is just starting but his dreams are big… The Thailand Rush soccer club, in its third season, is currently seeing fruit from its first three years as a premier soccer club in Chiang Mai, northern Thailand. The current U18 boys academy team includes numerous players who are in their third year, having played on the academy team since the beginning of Thailand Rush. The development of talent has reached a peak this year, along with the unity of playing together for these past three years, as this academy team is currently 4-1, having defeated their opponents by a combined score of 35 - 7, over the course of five matches. Santiago is a 6-year-old kid who was born in the city of Rosario, Colonia. He lives in the city of Nueva Helvecia with his family. He started to play with Uruguay Rush last year and he is enjoying his time there with friends and coach Carlos. Because he is a young player, 2013 will be the first year that he would be involved in tournaments and competitions. He is so excited about it. rails of P assion There is also a regular U18 squad, comprised of younger players, who will look to grow and take the place of the current academy team, next year. The U12 and U14 boys squads have already played their club seasons in the fall with similar success to the U18 squads. The Thailand Rush club is happy with its success as it continues to meet its goal, which is stated as follows, "To pursue excellence in soccer in opportunities in Chiang Mai, in Thailand, and throughout Asia, as a group of players who love the game and seek to honor God in the abilities He has given them." This goal is also seen is the fact that two more Thailand Rush players will be headed to quality college soccer programs, on soccer scholarships, in the US, raising the total number of Thailand Rush members who will be competing in college programs to seven. He is also a fan of Club Atletico Penarol. Whenever he can he goes to the Stadium to watch them play. Togo Rush managed to attract two former Togo International players from the Togo National Team into their coaching staff. Zambia Rush boys under 17 qualified to the 2013 Copperbelt league after coming out second to young Roan United. Togo Rush is pleased to have two local former professional soccer players joining our coaching staff. The Zambia Rush are geared to make a mark in the Copperbelt Football league that opens on the 23rd of March. The 'dream' team shall participate in the championship of 16 teams coming from the Copperbelt province. The team is now fine tuning before the opening of the season and has re-enforced the team with eight players from network teams including Chililabombwe Stars, Medics, Konkola Blades Youth and Boca Jrs. at h to V Mr. Amégan Didier is a former player that played as defensive midfielder for Asfosa of Lomé, Model of Lomé, Agaza of Lomé, and Flying star of Lomé, and ex-international player for Togo national team. He started his coaching career with the assistant coach position with Tiger Zephyr of Lomé. He is a very hard working coach who focuses on technical development of the players. The dream team has played practice matches with Crushtek, Konkola Mine Police Jrs towards the league opener. "We are ready for any challenge, most of my boys have been playing together since the age of 12 and the chemistry is so deep that we shall perform well this season," says John Kalengule. The team has so far registered thirty players for this season. Zambia Rush Graduates on the move… Julio Situmbeko, Zambia national team under 20 star has moved from Blades local premiership side to Power Dynamos the 2013 runners up of the Zambia Premier league. Obby Chirwa (19) has joined Platininum Stars of Zimbabwe. Jackson Sunzu (17) who was suppose to travel to Rush Colorado has been signed by Congolese side Don Bosco FC who are in continental competitions. Lazarus Kambole is on the brink of signing from Mine Police to Blades. Austinio Muwowo (16) has fully established himself this season at Mine Police FC senior team.
