Zach Emerson (OR Rush) and Sergio Rivas (NM Rush) have been selected to represent Rush Soccer as two of the top 30 players in the world to have the opportunity to train and play with the most famous club on the planet. The all-expenses paid trip allows Sergio and Zach to train with the Real Madrid Academy coaches and players and have the chance to be the one player that is kept over for a week's trial to potentially become a Real Madrid player. Sergio said, "I really appreciate this opportunity. I am going to work even harder leading up to the camp, and I promise I will do everything I can to get picked to stay." Sergio Rivas of New Mexico RUSH Zach, who has just returned from helping the B15 Select win the PDT in Arizona for the 3rd year in a row, by scoring a hat-trick in the final, said: "I'm excited for this great opportunity to play with kids from all over the world as well as experience the Spanish culture". Both players have been an integral part of the 97B Select team, and have won all 5 tournaments they have entered and never lost a game. Zach and Sergio have represented Rush well in the past, and we are excited to extend this opportunity to one of soccer's largest stages. Playing under the auspices of Real Madrid C.F. Academy coaches at their world-class training facilities, they will experience the commitment and excellence that creates some of the greatest players on the globe.
