Community Quick Facts • Huskie studentathletes routinely eclipse the 3,000-hour mark in community service. • NIU student-athletes work with several local organizations and charities, inluding DeKalb's Hope Have Shelter, the Salvation Army, and Colleges vs. Cancer. • From Girl Scout slumber parties to reading at local elementary schools to working DeKalb's annual CornFest, the Huskies are active in the DeKalb-Sycamore community.
