Pac-12 Tournament Mandalay Bay Events Center, Las Vegas, Nev. * Pac-12 Conference game. P12N indicates game televised on the Pac-12 Networks. All times Pacific Standard Time & subject to change. 2019-20 WASHINGTON ROSTER TEAM OUTLOOK • After ending the season on a run at the Pac-12 Tournament, upsetting two higher seeds, including top-10 ranked Oregon State, the Huskies come back with the majority of their squad to continue that momentum into 2019-20. • Entering her third season at the helm, head coach Jody Wynn is readying the Huskies to make moves up the league standings. With 10 letterwinners, including four starters, coming back, she will look to build on the confidence booster of beating two higher-seeded teams in Conference postseason play. Additionally, Wynn has signed a talented class that will help give the Huskies a scoring boost, as well as help on the boards and on defense. • Over the last two seasons, senior Amber Melgoza has become one of the top scorers in the Pac-12, record- ing back-to-back 500+ point seasons. She netted the bulk of the team's scoring as the only Husky with a double-digit scoring average, while also averaging the most minutes per game. • In addition to Melgoza, three other starters are back, including junior Missy Petersen who hit the game- winning three pointer with 2.3 seconds remaining in the Pac-12 Tournament to upset No. 11 Oregon State. • This year's incoming freshman class includes the height the Huskies had been missing. Sophomore Darcy Rees (6-foot-4) and senior Mai-Loni Henson (6-foot-1) will get help in the post from 6-foot-3 freshmen JaQuaya Miller, who was the top prospect in the state of Washington, and Ali Bamberger, one of the top-10 posts in the state of California. • UW ranked 11th in points allowed and 12th in scoring, respectively, in the Conference last season. Helping on the scoring front, junior college transfer Rita Pleskevich will be looking to get Melgoza some offensive help. A point guard, she was a 2018 NJCAA All-American. Freshman Nia Lowery also adds depth and athleticism to the guard corp.
