make a run in the NCAA tournament
— a tournament that likely won't feature a gauntlet of teams as strong as
UW saw in three days at the United
Center.
Among the catalysts were senior
Ryan Evans and sophomore point
guard Traevon Jackson. Both were
selected to the 2013 Big Ten AllTournament Team after leading UW
to wins over No. 6 Michigan and No.
3 Indiana.
Evans averaged 11.3 points, 6.0
rebounds and 4.0 assists per game
over the three-day tournament. The
6-foot-6 senior led all scorers with 16
points against Indiana. Jackson put
up 11.0 points per game, including
a career-high 16 in the quarterfinal
win over Michigan, while tallying 3.0
assists per game.
Bruising for your love

gone viral as the senior was named
one of Cosmopolitan magazine's
hottest hoops stars of March. The
editors cited Bruiser's new cut as
the attractive feature that has eyes
(and hearts) of women who marvel
at particular players during March
Madness.
