COMMUNITY
ENGAGEMENT
The women's lacrosse program has consistently
given back to the community. The Terriers
have hosted a game each of the last four
seasons to benefit the Friends of Jaclyn,
an organization that works to better the
quality of life for children battling pediatric
brain tumors and helps fund research. In
the past two seasons, BU participated in
the Catamount Classic-Lacrosse for a Cure
tournament which was an all-day tournament
with all proceeds being donated to cancer
research at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
TRADITION
BU has won six America East titles in eight years and nine in program history.
Six Terriers have earned America East Player of the Year honors while BU has also
had six players named Rookie of the Year. BU has been strong at home under Liz
Robertshaw, as the Terriers have posted a 39-13 mark at Nickerson Field over the
last seven seasons.

Robertshaw has been at the helm.
BU also advanced to the NCAA
Tournament each of those four
seasons, with one trip to the
NCAA quarterfinals. Robertshaw
is 32-4 against America East
competition and was the 2009 AE
Coach of the Year. In addition,
Robertshaw is on the staff of the
U.S. Women's National Lacrosse
Team, as an assistant coach, that
will work with the squad through the
2013 World Cup.

BU has advanced to eight NCAA Tournaments
and produced 18 All-Americans, including
three first team selections. Six Terriers have
