FACILITIES FaCILITIES Liberty BaseBall STADIUM The 2012 season was Liberty baseball���s last year at Worthington Stadium. A new baseball facility adjacent to the recently expanded Williams Stadium, home of Liberty football, and Osborne Stadium, home of both Liberty���s soccer and track & field programs, is set to open for the 2013 home opener. The construction of the new baseball facility is the latest dramatic improvement to athletics facilities at Liberty in recent years. The stadium seats 2,500 spectators and will enhance a developing athletics corridor at the university. The intercollegiate baseball stadium replaces Worthington Stadium, which has been the team���s home since 1979. TRAINING CHAMPIONS FOR CHRIST SINCE 1971 Club Seating The upper level boasts two suites with open-air seating, a club room, and media areas. 40 Synthetic Playing Field Field turf, the newest trend in college sports, allows Liberty baseball to play year-round. Home Opener Liberty Flames Baseball debuts its new stadium for the 2013 campaign. Baseball Operations Center The Baseball Operations Center houses coaches��� offices, indoor batting cages, a weight room, team room, and locker rooms.
