O R E G O N S T AT E 2 0 1 9 P A C - 1 2 B A S E B A L L M E D I A G U I D E 18 PAT BAILEY DI Career Record: First Year Record at Oregon State: First Year • Named Oregon State's interim head coach on Sept. 6, 2018 after 11 years as an assistant and associate head coach. • In 11 years with the Beavers, helped the program to the 2018 national championship, three trips to Omaha and nine overall postseason appearances. • Oversaw the outfield as an assistant coach with the Beavers and coached five All-Americans, including Michael Conforto who was drafted in the first round of the 2014 MLB Draft. • 2012 recipient of the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) Ethics in Coaching Award, given annually to one or two coaches who "represent the highest standards in sportsmanship, integrity, character and ethics." • Prior to joining Oregon State, spent 12 seasons as the head coach at George Fox, winning a Division III NCAA title and National Coach of the Year award in 2004 and holds the record for most wins in school history.
