2012-13 Redbird Women's Basketball Media Information CREDENTIALS QUICK FACTS Bloomington-Normal is located at the convergence of Interstates 55 (Chicago to St. Louis), 74 (Indianapolis to Iowa) and 39 (north to Rockford). From I-55, take exit 165, U.S. 51-South Main St., south to College Ave. From I-39, exit at I-55 east, and the first exit is 165. From I-74, follow I-55 North to exit 165. From the airport, turn left on Empire (Rt. 9) for approximately two miles, right on Veterans Parkway for approximately four miles, left on College Ave. for approximately six miles. Redbird Arena is at the corner of College Ave. and Main St., two miles south of exit 165. Requests must be made by sports editors/directors at least two days prior to the game. Passes and seating at courtside press row are limited to WORKING MEDIA ONLY. Passes that are not mailed will be available at the Southwest Loading Dock entrance. Illinois State reserves the right to deny media credentials to any individual who is not affiliated with an official news gathering organization. Wireless internet is available on the Redbird Arena floor and telephones are available in the media room and on media row. Under Illinois State University policy, a log-in name and password is required to gain access to the wireless service. Please contact Lauren Hutchcraft a week before the game to receive log-in information. INTERVIEW POLICY Interviews should be coordinated through Lauren Hutchcraft. There are no player interviews on game days or non-practice days. Phone numbers WILL NOT be given out to the working media. STUDENTATHLETES SHOULD NEVER BE CONTACTED DIRECTLY AT THEIR RESIDENCES. Violation of these policies could result in revocation of press credentials. MEDIA CONFERENCES Media conferences featuring head coach Stephanie Glance and one player are held throughout the season. Times and dates will be announced prior to the start of the season. MEDIA SERVICES Complete pregame notes with team and individual statistics will be available in the Redbird Arena Media Room prior to the start of the game. Monitors with the current box score are available courtside. Following the game, complete box scores with play-by-play will be available. PHOTOGRAPHERS Credentialed photographers are given access to shoot from the floor, but are expected to honor all sideline and baseline access areas. The respective bench areas, behind the bench areas and courtside in front of the scorer's table are all OFF LIMITS. Floor access is granted during player introductions only. Strobe or flash photography is available only with permission from the ISU Athletic Communications Office. PRACTICE POLICY The status of practice varies. Please contact Lauren Hutchcraft to check the availability of a practice. Visitors to practice should be seated no lower than the top row of the lower bowl. RELEASES & STATS Statistics, game notes (pdf) and media releases are distributed to the media via e-mail.
