and gritty and, for folks like
you and me, entertaining…
not so much the latter for
the coaching staffs. I'll echo
the sentiments noted above
and suggest that there is
still a lot of basketball left
to be played and who really
knows what will happen
between now and when the
teams gather at the United
Center in mid-March
for this year's postseason
tournament.
I do think it's fair to say
that Fran's squad (1) needs
to take care of business
in Carver and (2) win the
ones that they're "supposed
to" on the road. If the
Hawkeyes can find a way to
grab one that is unexpected,
all the better. All that being
said, from a "macro" point
of view, there's no question
about the trajectory of the
program: It's up. Straight
up…with the best yet to
come.
